With its new and updated design the new shape Trophy Plus Des is at the forefront of helmet design and now homologated in the much higher Snell SA2005 - safety standard.
The New Trophy Plus is fitted with the superior Stilo WRC electronics and padded ear cups and a flexible metal spiral boom for the microphone, this offering better stability of the microphone unlike our competitors helmets which move constantly. The electronics in this helmet are the same as in the top end of our range of the WRC and Piuma helmets and is similar to a Peltor helmet although superior in safety, communication and fit. The fitted WRC electronics give unmatched performance suitable for all types of rally cars, and can be connected to a Peltor intercom through the use of our conversion cable (AC0201) available as an extra.
Utilising the same shell as the other Trophy Des helmets it is one of the most futuristic helmet on the market and much stronger having passed the Snell safety standard being the FIA's minimum standard in the years to come (beggining January 2014). The helmet also has a more neutral coloured lining in black and is the only helmet on the market with EPS cheek pads offering better cheek protection than other helmets.
The new helmet weighes in at 1400g for the small shell and 1440g for the large shell in the Large and Extra Large size helmets. The Extra Large of the New Trophy Plus has a more generous fit unlike the original model, and is now available in Extra Small fitting heads measuring 54cms.
The Trophy Plus Des is available with or without HANS posts.
