NEW in late 2009 the S2 version of the popular ST30 is the ultimate in intercoms from Stilo. The S2 has been developed after extensive testing with Abarth and Peugeot for their Super 2000 rally cars to cope with the excessive noise produced by these incredibly loud cars.
Although this intercom is one unit, it is actually fitted with two seperate intercom circuits, powered by a 12 volt connection, these run in tandem offering full time communication should one intercom circuit unusually fail!! A simple flick of a switch will bring back communications between driver and co-driver, instead of having to unplug and reconnect to another intercom with most other rally car systems. The ST30 S2 is the only intercom available on the market to offer this feature.
Each intercom has different volume settings to allow the crew to choose the best option for their car, ie: Intercom 1 is adequate for the biggest majority of cars, while Intercom 2 is ideal for S2000 or other very noisey rally cars. There is also individual volume controls for driver and co driver.
Each intercom also has the addition of a road and stage mode, when the road mode is selected it allows your team radio to be heard through the intercom and also communication on your telephone, via the very simple telephone cables which are available as an extra. This intercom is manufactured with only the best aircraft and military spec connections and is without doubt the best intercom on the market.
The ST30 S2 also has a connection allowing a camera to be connected and record the dialogue between driver and co-driver.
