The ST4 GT Wide composite uses the same shell shape as the 8860 and GT Wide Carbon helmets, while the shape is the same the composite offers all the trimmings at a much cheaper cost.
The shell of this version is manufactured from a Dyneema and Kevlar mix offering a strong construction but slightly heavier (around 100grms) than its more expensive counterparts. The ST4 GT is homologated to a Snell 2010 standard.
This helmet comes with the Stilo noise cancelling microphone and comm port as standard and is fitted with an ear plug kit connector to allow pit to car communications.
Unlike to the Formula version the GT Wide has a slightly wider appeture and comes with an adjustable peak instead of a pull down visor. The shell of the GT Wide has been modified to allow the fitmet of a visor for use as a formula helmet (extras required).
The ST4 GT Wide comes fitted with FIA 8858-2010 HANS posts as standard.
