The remarkable ST4 Wide Zero helmet is a must for the serious racer.
Stilo's new construction is nothing but incredible and has shocked professional drivers with its incredibly light construction, but also its incredible strength. The Wide Zero helmet weighing in at just 1250grams, with its fitted part electronics and HANS posts, passed the incredibly tough FIA 8860-10 test some 27% inside the tolerances required to pass the Formula 1 standard. Such is its strength the FIA could well re think its requirements in the future based on what was acheived with the Zero range of ST4 helmets.
With its fitted peak and extra wide opening it is ideal for use in a saloon car, giving a deeper and slightly wider perspective, as well as slightly improved ventilation.
The helmet can also be converted to an open top version with a full visor and fitting kit, although for a perfect, 100% windproof seal the ST4 FN Zero is better suited for high speed open top cars.
Coming with a HANS helmet bag, a short visor, a long visor, a top air kit (only for use with a long visor) and an aero kit it allows you to convert the helmet for use as you require. It has a noise cancelling microphone, an earplug connection as standard, and also a comm port and an opening ready for a drinks system (available as an extra) in the side ports as seen in the image.
