Born from the top of the range ST30 Des the new WRC Des offers a number of features in a more cost effective package.
Housed in the same casing as our original WRC intercom with its single intercom circuit, it still has individual volume controls for driver and co-driver but now has the option of the Extra Noise filter, which, with a flick of a switch copes with the excessive noise of Super 2000 rally cars. The WRC Des also has the Bluetooth telephone connection, which can also be used for music via a bluetooth MP3 player.
In addition to this the unit is now designed for a permanent 12volt feed from the cars power supply, this is to cope with the additional features of this new intercom. The gold RCA socket at the rear of the unit is now adjustable for either an output to put a feed into a video recorder, or an input for your to connect a VHF radio into the intercom. The final modification in this unit allows you to adjust the volume output (low or high) for your video recorder.
This intercom is the perfect compromise in price and performance to the ST30 Des with just one intercom circuit. Conversion cables are available to allow conection of a Peltor/Sparco/Sabelt crash helmet (AC0200). |
