Valtteri Bottas celebrated his first ever rally victory at the weekend, when he won the Rallycircuit Cote d'Azur.
Co-driven by fellow Finn Marko Salminen (who used to navigate for Teemu Suninen), the Mercedes Formula 1 driver recorded five (out of nine) fastest stage times on the Paul Ricard-based event in a PH Sport-run Citroen DS3 WRC.
Experienced European Rally Championship driver Robert Consani, who had led after the opening stage, finished second in a Skoda Fabia R5, some 50 seconds behind.
Formula 2 racing driver Dorian Boccolacci finished third in another Fabia R5.
