Craig Breen and Paul Nagle will return to the Hyundai Motorsport team at the next round of the FIA World Rally Championship, Rally Sweden, replacing Sébastien Loeb/Daniel Elena in the works i20 Coupe WRC.

They’ll form part of a three car squad, teaming up with Thierry Neuville/Nicolas Gilsoul and Ott Tänak/Martin Järveoja.

“It was difficult to watch the WRC season get underway in Monte Carlo,” said Craig. “Even though I did have good fun with Cheny working with Red Bull TV at the event, it doesn't quite compare to being in the i20 Coupe WRC! Paul and I cant wait to be back on the start line, bring on Rally Sweden!”

“We have taken the decision to add Craig Breen to our line-up for Rally Sweden alongside Thierry and Ott in a bid to field the most competitive package possible for the event with the best available options for road position,” added Team Principal Andrea Adamo. “We opted to bring in Craig based on his performance in Sweden in 2018 when he finished in second place, and the potential he showed in our i20 Coupe WRC last season."

The team has been forced to postpone its planned pre-event test in Sweden, due to take place this week, because of a lack of snow and ice currently in the region. A revised test is being considered for 5-7 February in the area close to the rally with all three crews.

Craig Breen and Paul Nagle wear Stilo WRC DES Zero helmets.
