Nothing looks more professional in motorsport than a custom designed racesuit, and for competitors in most race and rally series, a homologated suit is now mandatory, and our suits are all manufactured to the latest FIA standards. A bespoke and truly customised racing suit is not only made to measure and will offer you the highest levels of comfort, but you have the option to add sponsor logos as well as having colour choices that can match or contrast the livery of your car - a must for all serious drivers and co-drivers.
Racing suits come in a fantastic selection of designs, colours, shapes and sizes from all the various manufacturers in the marketplace. But getting a stock fireproof race suit to fit your specific measurements in your required colour scheme to suit car and sponsors is virtually impossible. This is where a made to measure in a totally bespoke colour scheme and design, with specific logos comes into its own.
Nicky Grist Motorsports are experts in this specific market, supplying hundreds of suits each year to individuals, to race and rally teams, specific championships and to car manufacturers.
We are proud to be UK main dealer for P1 Racewear, an Italian manufacturer of high-quality lightweight breathable suits, all made to the very latest FIA standards as required by your chosen motorsport.
We can base fully customised, made to measure racing suits on much of the P1 range:
- LAP Racing suit (mid range suit, ideal option for competitors operating on a smaller budget)
- DIVA Racing suit (mid range suit specifically for female race and rally competitors)
- PRO-R Racing suit (professional suit - our most common option for made to measure, ideal for all rally and race competitors)
As of 1st Jan 2022, all fully customised racing suits of the above models adhere to the lastest, FIA 8856-2018 homologation. We also have the option to create printed fireproof underwear tops to wear underneath your suit, for even more branding opportunity for your sponsors. Find more information about this, here.

Costs for customised suits vary based on the complexity of designs in logo, stitching in embroidery, and the suit that it is based upon.
