Up until now, a bespoke Stilo helmet build service was something purely reserved for professional racing drivers. Not any more: Introducing the customisable ST5 build service from Nicky Grist Motorsports - UK Importer of Stilo Helmets.
This service is based on a purchase of a brand new ST5 Carbon F or GT racing helmet and by adding the options at the time of purchase this adds the costs of each customisable part that you add. The helmet which is supplied to you will be as per your selections, including size and homologation standard. You will be sent your helmet with all optional extras fitted to the helmet by our expert team.
There will be a short lead time while the helmet is built, however if all components which you have specified are in stock, the helmet will be sent upon completion of the customised build, and you will be notified of its shipment via our trusted courier. Please note, that customised helmets cannot be returned for a refund or exchanged, owing to the bespoke nature of the helmet. If you have sizing concerns, please speak to a member of staff who will be able to guide you through this process.
Customised colour interiors are made to order, therefore please consider a lead time of 8 weeks minimum whilst this is done. Customised colour interiors are non-cancellable orders and non refundable, so please ensure the correct size is being ordered to avoid sizing issues.
ST5 helmet models - a quick guide:
Stilo ST5 F is a full face helmet supplied with a full visor, visor locking pin, ear plug connection, microphone and radio plug built into the shell.
Stilo ST5 GT is as above but built with a short sunshade visor as standard
8859-2015 standard is the FIA homologation for clubman/national rally events in the UK and Europe. The 8859 carbon helmets are also homologated to Snell 2020 standard (only relevant for use in America).
Those competing in international races may need 8860-2018 standard, which is stronger and mandatory in some series. Stilo Zero models are the super lightweight version of the Stilo 8860 helmet, as used in Formula 1, WEC and Le Mans.
