Breen confirmed with Hyundai for Wales Rally GB

There wasn’t really any doubt after his stunning debut for the team at Rally Finland – but now Craig Breen has been confirmed as one of the Hyundai Motorsport team drivers for next month’s Wales Rally GB.

The newly-crowned Irish Tarmac Champion came home seventh in Finland, after allowing FIA World Rally Championship challenging team-mates Thierry Neuville/Nicolas Gilsoul to finish ahead of him.

But having been the top-placed Hyundai driver in fifth after day one, Breen and co-driver Paul Nagle continued to put on a superb and faultless display in the works Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC – and have rightly earned their Rally GB place.

Andreas Mikkelsen/Anders Jæger-Amland completes Hyundai’s WRGB line-up.

“I’m so thankful to Hyundai Motorsport for putting their faith in me and Paul once again, especially on a rally so close to my heart as Rally GB! Back in the muddy Welsh forests, flat out, we can’t wait,” said Craig.

Craig Breen and Paul Nagle wear Stilo WRC DES Zero 8860 helmets.
