Cammish seals Jack Sears Trophy with double race win at Brands Hatch

Dan Cammish sealed victory in the Jack Sears Trophy by winning his first ever Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship race at Brands Hatch – and immediately followed that up with his second race victory!

It capped a stunning BTCC rookie season for the 29-year old Leeds-based Halfords Yuasa Racing Civic Type R driver, who ended up winning the Jack Sears Trophy by 86 points.

Chris Smiley finished runner-up in his BTC Norlin Racing Honda Civic, while Matt Simpson snatched third place from Rory Butcher on a tie-break.

Cammish will receive the top prize of a new Stilo ST5 GT Carbon helmet, supplied by Nicky Grist Motorsports, at the BTCC awards ceremony.

A record 22 drivers fought for the Jack Sears Trophy in 2018.
